Taproom Coffee + Beer: Atlanta, GA

Brews on Brews on Brews.

My new favorite Coffee Shop in ATL. A nice open space with great brews of every variety. Visited for the first time today and it was a treat. Walked in to this shop that is right in the heart of the Kirkwood neighborhood and saw a huge 4 group La Marzocco Linea but it didnt pull shots...It had been converted into their beer tap system. Sweet. On one side of the counter, it has 10+ taps and on the other side, a tap for water. Pretty freakin awesome.

This place served something called "Beerspresso", only made sense to try it. I learned that it was non-alcoholic but brewed like beer but it had japanese style iced coffee, dry hopped and mixed with a bit of blood orange juice, pumped through some nitro. Whoa. It was refreshing! Highly recommend giving it a try. With some interesting art on the walls and a mess of lights hanging from the ceiling. the vibe was super relaxed and pretty quiet. They serve Counter Culture Coffee and Rishi Tea, that comes in some really cool little japanese-inspired ceramic vessels. I ordered a Cortado with the Sipacapa Single Origin from Guatemala. No complaints. Delicious. I had to get a good beer to pair with it so I went with the Fighting Bishop Tripel (8.5%ABV) by Burnt Hickory (A local small batch brewery). It was spectacular! My barista was friendly, helpful and seemed like a really chill guy.

All in all, great neighboorhood, great place to sip on some great brews. Dancing Goats still has the best patio in Atlanta and Octane is great but this place has the vibes! Cheers!
