Back to SouthEast Asia?

Flights there & back for less than $600!

Adrienne & I have been talking about getting back to SouthEast Asia to hit a few of the spots we missed during our time in Thailand in 2012 (Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam). We have been throwing around the idea of Bali (Indonesia) for a while and have wanted to go back to Japan ever since we left. This deal we found recently allowed us to do it all and the price was right!

So we booked it.

This is what our itinerary looks like so far:

Los Angeles > Thailand > Indonesia > Cambodia > Laos > Vietnam > Malaysia > Japan > Los Angeles

With the exception of a couple short haul flights here and there (likely costing us less than $50 USD per flight) This means flights to approx. 10 cities, 8 countries will run us about $800 USD. I'm sold. We spread the word about this deal and some friends of ours quickly hopped on board. With this area already being one of the cheapest in the world and the fact that we will have a group, pricing is looking really great for some amazing airbnb's too! Wait until you see some of these places, they are unreal. My cost estimates are that we will be a little over $2K USD All In (Flights/Food/Lodging/Fun, etc with Adrienne & I combined) for 2 months in SE Asia. That's a thousand each. Not too shabby, if you ask me.

Some of our ideas so far: Popping back into the Red Light district in Bangkok for some killer nights, Chillin with the monkeys near the waterfalls in Ubud and relaxing by the infiniti pools, exploring Siem Reap & strolling through Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Hiking the trails and exploring the beautiful rivers & caves in Laos, Riding some motorbikes through the madness of Ho Chi Minh, sailing along Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, Ramen & Sushi Hunting in Tokyo and catching the Fall leaves with views of Mt. Fuji in Osaka.  Im getting too excited just typing this out.

I'll post more updates as this trip comes together. If you have any ideas, recommendations, things to add, leave them in the comments below. Cheers!
